Scientist
PBM - Princeton BioMeditech Corporation seeks qualified and motivated Scientists with solid scientific and technical education/skills for full-time positions in R&D and manufacturing of in vitro diagnostic assay reagents and devices.
About This Role:
At PBM, you will join a product team that develops and produces high quality, advanced, rapid diagnostic devices -- such as infectious disease tests used at doctors' offices, drugs of abuse tests used by law enforcement, and pregnancy tests used by consumers. As an integral part of the team, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop/follow protocols, perform laboratory experiments
- Prepare buffers and solutions, handle chemicals and specimens
- Record, compile and analyze data; write organized reports and summaries
- Report results to others
- Interface with quality and production staff
- Comply with Company quality systems requirements
- Perform other assignments as directed
Working with a senior product manager and other team members, you will practice the critical thinking and communication skills to collaborate and work effectively. The successful Scientist will:
- Communicate and work effectively with others
- Prioritize multiple tasks and manage time
- Think critically to analyze and solve problems
- Demonstrate reasonable independence in planning and conducting experiments
Skills and experience in protein chemistry, organic chemistry, molecular biology, microbiology and/or cell biology techniques would be helpful.
