Who: Class of 2028

Where: 100% in-person, in beautiful Burlington, Vermont, nestled between Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks, and the Green Mountains. Enjoy long summer evenings (it can be light until 9:30 PM)!

When: 10 weeks during the summer of 2027. Schedule adjusted for your university’s summer break. 

Compensation: This is a paid internship: $10,000. 

Housing: Housing will be provided at St. Michael’s College. Paid by One Day In July. Dinners are provided as part of the St. Michael’s College housing program. 

Transportation: One Day In July will provide and pay for: 1. Transportation throughout Burlington. 2. Travel to and from Burlington at the start/end of the internship. 

Number of Internship Opportunities: 5, across operational and technical domains.

What Does the Internship Look Like?

Dedicated Project: Each intern will complete a project that goes into use at the end of the internship. While mentors will provide scaffolding, interns will influence the direction. Projects will have defined goals and deadlines. 

Collaboration: Our team exchanges ideas and collaborates across advice, compliance, marketing, and even real estate. Each team member is expected to wear many hats!

Mentors: Each intern will be assigned an experienced mentor to provide guidance, feedback, and accountability. 

Lunches with Our Founder: You will have lunch from time to time with our founder, Dan Cunningham. Discussions will range from indexing to entrepreneurship, scaling factors, marketing psychology, compliance challenges, risk controls, software-finance intersections, career considerations, and more!
