Pre-law school Paralegal

Two (2) year Pre-law school paralegal positions available for recent Princeton graduates. This is an ideal position for someone who plans to attend a top law school, with the goal of pursuing a career in "big law." Donovan LLP is a boutique commercial real estate and real estate finance law firm in Manhattan with a 30+ year history of training law graduates to practice at the highest level. Alumni of the firm are presently partners at Akerman, Allen Matkins (2), Seyfarth (3), Windels, Morrison Cohen, Federman and similar firms. Recent associates have left for careers at Mayer Brown, Cadwalader, Jones Day, Kelley Drye, Holland & Knight, and Haynes & Boone. The position is designed to provide the paralegals with a very similar work experience as first year lawyers, with responsibility for assisting in drafting legal documents, assisting at closings and functioning as part of the legal time at our firm, with room for growth and development over the course of employment. The anticipated period of employment will be from June 2027 until June/July 2029, barring something unexpected. Other potential time frames may be considered on a case by case basis. The salary is $100,000 per year, with the expectation that the paralegals will work the same hours as first year lawyers, as work requires. The firm requires in office work 5 days per week. There will be 2-weeks paid vacation in year 1 and 3-weeks paid vacation in year 2, with customary paid sick leave. No other benefits.
